Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. General Terms
This Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made through the Zarista website ("www.zarista.in").
By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
This Policy is governed by the applicable laws of India.


2. Order Cancellation
Before Shipment
Customers may cancel their order before it has been shipped by contacting our customer service team

A full refund will be issued to the original payment method within 2-3 business days of cancellation confirmation.
After Shipment
 Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped.

However, customers may initiate a return or exchange as per our Return Policy. The original shipping fees are non-refundable.


3. Return and Exchange Policy
Eligibility
  Items must be returned in their original condition, unworn, and in the original packaging, including all tags and accessories.
•  Return requests must be initiated within 24 hours of delivery.
•  Returns are applicable only if the product arrives in a damaged condition.

  Claims must be substantiated with an unboxing video taken at the time of receipt within 24 hours of delivery.
 Single-product images of damaged items will not be considered valid for return/exchange claims.

Non-Returnable Items
  For hygiene reasons, earrings or any jewellery that pierces the skin cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective or damaged during transit.
  Custom-made or personalized items are non-returnable.

Return Process
 To initiate a return, customers must email us at hello@zarista.in with their order number and reason for the return, along with the unboxing video and intact shipping label if the damage occurred during transit.

• Upon approval, a return shipping label or further instructions will be provided.

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged or defective.
• If reverse shipping is unavailable, the customer will need to ship the product back to our address in its original packaging.
Refunds
• Refunds or credit notes will be processed within 5-7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
• Credit notes will be issued via email and can be used for future purchases.
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect or defective item).
Exchanges
•  Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested item is unavailable, a credit note will be issued instead.
                                

4. Damaged or Defective Items
Notification
• Customers must report any damaged or defective items within 24 hours of delivery by emailing hello@zarista.in.
• Once verified, we will offer a replacement or a credit note, including the shipping costs for the return of the defective product.
                                

5. Refund Exceptions
• We reserve the right to refuse a refund or return request if the item shows signs of wear, damage, or alteration by the customer.
• Fraudulent or abusive return activity will result in the denial of future services.
